Did you know that the Lotus F1 team is utilizing Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 for Cost Control?

Straight from the front lines of Microsoft's 2014 Convergence, attendees learned that the Lotus F1 team uses Dynamics AX for an advantage.

"It gives us an advantage" says the Lotus F1 formula team in reference to the access and availability of data insights. "It allows us to see what is costing us so we can make a change."

But it's not just about the change.

Knowing when to make a change for speed is one thing, but the way in which the Lotus F1 team is using the #cloud as well as data allows them to make the most cost effective changes.

The Lotus F1 team moved to the cloud to share simulation and performance-tools that are conducive to making cost effective changes on their race cars.

The take aways?  Dynamics AX helps the Lotus F1 team deliver speed and agility, without sacrificing money-they're saving it.
