LeaseQuery Video: New Lease Accounting Standards

LeaseQuery Video: New Lease Accounting Standards

Thursday, March 31, 2022, Clients First co-hosted a webinar with LeaseQuery to review the new lease accounting standards and present this information in an easy to understand manner.  Who should watch this recording?  Accounting and finance professionals whose companies manage a medium-to-high volume of leases will benefit most from this event, along with CPAs who serve clients with a similar volume of leases.

Jason Parker, CPA, presented the tutorial which reviewed the history of lease accounting and discussed the drivers for the change to the accounting standards and required financial reporting.  This webinar covered the new accounting compliance requirements, who is most impacted by these changes, and key dates to consider during the transition process. Also, Jason touched on the common complexities organizations must avoid beyond the initial transition calculations as they progress to day-to-day lease accounting.

LeaseQuery has a software solution to the lease problem many organizations face.  Their solution is ERP agnostic, which means you can use it in Acumatica Cloud ERP, Dynamics 365 Business Central, or Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (Supply Chain is another name that is often used).  Some ERP solutions have lease finance functionality, however LeaseQuery might be an an alternative if the end users responsible do not need access to the ERP.
