Acumatica Integration with Power BI

Acumatica has been integrated with Microsoft Power BI as a content pack to help their consumers with business intelligence (BI) and data visualization. The collaboration between the software provides even more ways to access and integrate data. Not only that, but it also enhances your Acumatica experience by providing you with more detailed interactive reports and dashboard analytics.

What is Power BI?

Power BI is a cloud-based program by Microsoft that can access data from your Acumatica account for the purpose of viewing and interpretation. It can be used at any time or place, just like Acumatica. It is a feature- packed business analytics tool that can connect to other popular analytics apps such as Google analytics, MailChimp, and Salesforce.

So how does it work with Acumatica?

The Acumatica content pack allows you to track your prospect pipeline, monitor growth, and watch the progression of your projects as they happen. Power BI ultimately adds more analytics features making it easier to find the right information. It allows you to isolate the information to whatever demographic, region, or topic needed. This makes finding what you’re looking for in Acumatica even easier, and it allows you to see more real-time data and insights at levels that legacy systems just can’t measure up to, allowing for: gains in insights and making faster, more informed business decisions.

Pinpoint your desired target of information with ease. For example, if you want to see your sales by country and get some perspective on their locations, you can literally type in “sales by country as map,” and it will give you a map of the density of your sales from around the world. It’s that simple, and you don’t have to learn a new computer language to communicate with the program. After you generate your reports just the way you want them, you can embed it into your Acumatica account.
