Dynamics NAV Upgrade to Business Central Bridge to the Cloud Promotion

Upgrade Dynamics to 365 Business Central

Discount offer: dynamics nav, GP, and SL customers moving to business central

Microsoft is offering a new promotion called “Bridge to the Cloud Two” to help existing Dynamics NAV, GP, or Great Plains and SL on-premise customers transition to Dynamics 365 Business Central. The promotion started on February 1, 2023, and runs through December 31, 2024. If you are still running Dynamics NAV/Navision or one of the other legacy Dynamics solutions then we suggest companies like yours to evaluate the upgrade to Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Upgrading to the SaaS edition of Business Central on the Microsoft Cloud provides reliability, security, redundancy, compliance, and more. The Microsoft Cloud allows business owners to focus on what they do best, rather than worrying about servers and licensing along with the overhead costs needed to manage an on-premise ERP.

Does Your Dynamics NAV, GP, or SL Qualify for the Upgrade?

To be eligible for the promotion, customers must be active on an Enhancement Plan (EP) and purchase subscription licenses equal to or greater than their annual EP from an authorized cloud service provider (CSP) like Clients First Business Solutions. Customers must also maintain the minimum SaaS license value which is the same amount as their normal EP payment.   If they fail to meet this requirement, they will be liable for EP costs from the date that their paid EP ended (as well as 3% lapsed fees) and may not continue to receive promotional pricing/terms. You won’t want to go back to your old Dynamics once you are upgraded anyway! In addition, Microsoft audits these accounts so it is really not possible to default.

The Bridge to the Cloud promotion provides a price point 40% lower than the standard commercial list price. For example, the Bridge to the Cloud promo price for D365 Business Central SaaS Premium users is $60 versus $100 for customers not on EP. Customers using the Essentials edition only pay $42 a month versus $70.

Customers who participate in the Bridge to the Cloud promotion will have dual access rights to their current on-premises product. This means that they can continue to use their on-premises product while also using the cloud-based product.

Customers can add users to their subscriptions, but they cannot remove users except on their annual renewal date. Also, the agreements are 36 months so no mid-term cancelations. Monthly or annual billing options are available upon credit approval.

Customers who have licensed concurrent users on their on-premises license and require additional licenses to cover all their named users may request additional free users provided that they have met the minimum licensing requirement which is twice the annual enhancement plan cost. For example, if the annual enhancement plan is $5,000, customers must purchase promotional SaaS licenses that equal or exceed $10,000 per year to qualify for the no-cost licenses. We have several customers that have already taken advantage of this promotion due to an increase in growth and they had many users that needed access to the software but didn’t want to pay the 3K per license for the on-premise NAV solution.

The free licenses will be provided via Microsoft Online Subscription Program (MOSP) promotional codes. Customers must provide a credit card for identification purposes when redeeming those codes (card will not be charged). The request for additional users must be made within 60 days of the initial CSP license purchase. Your partner such as Clients First will help you navigate this promotion.

The Bridge to the Cloud promotion is a great opportunity for existing Dynamics NAV, GP, or SL on-premise customers to transition to the cloud. The promotion provides a significant discount on the standard commercial list price, and it allows customers to continue to use their current on-premises product while also using the cloud-based product.

Do you want to learn more about Business Central?

There is a plethora of resources that were lacking for Dynamics NAV and Navision.  This is fantastic for end users.

If you are an existing Dynamics on-premises customer, I encourage you to contact your Microsoft partner or Clients First to learn more about the Bridge to the Cloud promotion.  This offer is only available through an authorized partner.  Reach out to us at 800.331.8231 or email info@cfbs-us.com.
